V8 Project
Wow been ages since I been on here work and the little one has been consuming all of my time so much that I have not even been able to get more then 2hours a weekend in off playing Forza Horizon!! Loving the new fresh look… yeah yeah it is the first time I see it told you I have not been on here for ages.
Been busy the last few weekend modding our 1995 Toyota Hillux with the Lexus V8 in it, if you are not familiar with it you can check it out here: Toyota Hilux Gets Lexus V8 ; Quick Update ; Rims and tyres for Toyota Hilux Project ; Lexus V8 Conversion Update & Toyota Hillux V8 not done anything to the motor as yet first want the body done and we only have Saturday mornings to work on it.
Slapped on a tail gate and then got a plate and bend it to the shape we wanted, first we made holes in the tail gate for the new lights to fit correctly and for the wiring to run through. Then we made the number plate holder and made the holes in the plate for the lights to fit and welded it to the tailgate and body.
Then chopped off the hooks on the sides and took out all the dents from there we welded in the plates to make it all smooth. Gee what a mission to remove the rubberizing coz you can’t just grind it ells it stick to everything so had to take a Stanley knife and a hammer and chisel also removed more for the angle iron going on this weekend for the lid we manufacturing to cover the back.

Hahaha too busy if you ask me lol.
Well at the moment just building for shows but hell that monster’s ass can be lose when u want it to be believe me so it might be an idea to tune the motor a bit to do drifting with time will also need to make it manual to do drift competitions
