Something different: Part 5

One last update before the weekend, we ended up doing a lot of small jobs that needed sorting. Next week the rear subframe is going in (after a lot....and then i mean a LOT of measuring :P ).

Nissan ECU placed on the inside panel and the wiring harness running from the ECU to the engine bay (and eventually engine) has gone in

The heater has gone on a diet, ditching the center control unit (-12kg) and all the other junk i don't need. Only function left is fan on/off and heat on/off.

Original Pipes cut

Marked the cut out to run the pipes out

Final fitting (braced on the inside)

Intercooler mounted

Bottom bracing/mounting for the intercooler

Also Mark started to cut out room to make for the movement of the suspension (might need more cutting later on)

Also the brake lines have been put into place in the front of the car, you can also see the wiring that runs from the ECU in this image. These wires are all running towards the cilinder head (coilpacks, sensors etc).

No worries about the clearance, it will clear all these by far so no problem for cutting and welding of the prop tunnel

And to top it off some new HEL braided lines (orange afcourse)

The pins have been cut out to be placed on the boxframe next week

That was all for this week, next week much more to come :)

Starting to look like a car again
