Nine second Subaru dominates Fast 5 day
It seems like a small life time since the Official Fast 5 media day happened, but in reality it's only been a week. Life behind the scenes of this site and blog are moving at an outstanding rate of speed. However, it's the fast paced rate of life that I love and I know most of you lot do too.
Often when meeting people for the first time to discuss events like the Fast 5 and FBS is "what is Fueltopia? What's it all about?". Mostly I answer the question with a history of its origins and the functions and mechanics of the website. I always found that although my answers were clear and correct, there was a better way of summing it up...
Mikee Singh's Subaru is a clear example of what we're about. The car is an animal, it demolishes empty track like Rosanne Barr eats cake. It's not had millions thrown at it, the engine has not been made in a sterile workshop that looks more like a hospital, it was put together with eight scrap engines. This car is the result of a desire for speed, a bit of savvy know how, broken knuckles and endless nights. It is Fueltopia, or at least on the same Fueltopian highway that we all travel on.

im gutted i missed seing this run. it looked awesome and fairplay to them for showing what 'shoestring' budgets can achive.
