Now i've been into cars since i was knee high to a grasshopper, and regulary got my hands dirty doing my own work etc, but slowly got a sidetracked away from it all and got other people to do it for me etc -until today...
See my sisters boyfriend has had a few problems with his alarm on his MK4 astra, and with a little digging we found out it was a common problem with the powersounder batteries failing.
So off he went to his local dealer to grab the part, and i headed down the shed to dig out my tools.
First up we jacked the car up with the factory supplied "widowmaker" and took the wheel off:
then proceeded to move half the inner wheel arch liner to gain access to the panel:
A quick man break:
And the powersounder was switched over:
I was on a roll now, so decided to sort a few other bits that he wanted done including insignia washer jets and led number plate bulbs:
Now once i had finished we thought it would be rude not to take some pictures of two evolving astras together:
