GAZ Adjustable Coilover Dampers for Hillman Imp

The classic Hillman Imp and its Singer and Sunbeam siblings are still fun cars to drive although its short wheelbase and rear engine mean that care needs to be taken when setting up the suspension. Fortunately GAZ have that sorted....

Their dampers for the Imp have built-in coilover spring platforms and adjustable  bump and rebound rates which can be altered by means of an easily accessible knob on the side of the units.

GAZ can set the dampers up for general road use and they will also be suitable for the occasional track slalom and sprint use, or they can be set up for serious classic racing use.

A gas cell in the outer reservoir helps prevent cavitation under enthusiastic use.

GAZ GP dampers feature a zinc plated body to keep them looking good and working well for long into the future.

All units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a 2 year warranty.

The GAZ coilover dampers for the Hillman Imp (1963-76) retail at £65.33 each plus VAT for the fronts and £61.04 each plus VAT for the rear. Special lowered versions are also available to order. Springs are supplied separately according to customer’s spring rate requirement.
