Ford Mustang Boss 302R

Since Ford recently discussed the 2011 Mustang GT business seems to be going into the right direction again. Only ten days after the news there is the first special edtion called the Boss 302R, a track-only version Ford Mustang.

In the nose you will find the same 5.0 liter V8 engine as in the road-legal vehicle, delivering the 412bhp through a manual six-speed gearbox and the rear wheels onto the road. To make it track-ready Ford changed the chassis, added a roll cage and a set of Brembo racing seats. The Boss 302R can be ordered now and is yours for $79,000. Important: if you want one, you better hurry, because Ford will only produce 50 units!
