FBS Round 4 Results and Leaderboard

Santa Pod Raceway played host to round 4 of the Fueltopia Barrel Sprint and what a round it was! The field of 22 cars fought through a morning and afternoon session of qualifying, to grab those all important 16 places in the knockouts and to try and place with the fastest times in their own class for those vital extra 2 points.

We had a number of new drivers take to the track for the first time this round, including Torsten De lange, our FT rep from Holland, JDM Allstars driver, Walton Smith, and all seemed to take to it pretty well and we look forward to seeing them all again at future rounds.

The finals were whittled down to our top 4 in semi finals, Rob White (028) took the flag against Lozzy (777) of team lozgistics in the cappuccino in the first semi final to face another FBS regular Sean Franklin of Team ASBO who took his spot after taking a win aggainst drift taxi driver Richard Dalby-Smith (006)

First up to fight for 3rd/4th place was Richard V Lozzy and the cappuccino came out fighting, it may have caused a few giggles on the side line but also an eruption from the crowd as he crossed the line ahead of Richard in the Nissan S13, just shows you can place in ANY car! 

As the two previous podium winners took to the track the crowd watched on as both entered each and every barrel level pegging. The cross of the line was too close to call for us on the sidelines and came down to that of the timekeepers who recorded 21.47 for Sean Franklin and 21.13 for Rob White giving him the win, that now takes him to the top of the leader board
