As some of you may have read, we recently announced a sponsorship deal with Powervamp Racing Batteries.
Well after receiving the batteries & associated products in super quick time, we set about making a battery tray and finding a suitable place for the battery.
With a car like this its important to think of access to charging and also keeping it safe and out the way and also very neat.
We chose under my seat, low centre of gravity, ease of access to charge thanks to the great idea by Powervamp to use a quick connect plug to charge.
This is the smallest battery they produce, rated at 8 amp hours, they do right up to 51 amp hours so they will certainly have something in their range to suit your needs.
Overall very pleased with the finish of the tray and of course the aluminium mount that Powervamp sent us, it looks superb! The battery is the perfect size and will easily provide us with hi spec, light-weight, dry cell power!
