Crossmember for Cortina Mk1 & Mk2 for rack and pinion conversions
Burton Power are now stocking a new conversion engine crossmember for Cortina Mk1 and Mk2, for use when converting a Cortina from a steering box to rack and pinion steering.
The crossmember is designed for use with a Escort Mk1/2 rack and Escort/Capri track control arms and struts.
The engine must be chassis mounted.
The crossmember has a low profile providing approximately 40mm greater ground clearance. It also offers a substantial weight saving as it weighs in at just 3 kg.
