Real Cars. Real Drivers, Real Performance

As the 2011 show season starts to take hold people are looking at taking there cars out of their garages after the winter months. we can all look back and see all the hard work that has been done on our cars.
This year we intended to do a few of the normal shows but the best fun will be had at the meets we had at the ace café in London.
This is the 3rd year we have had the privilege of being able to hold these special meet and invite members from other Scooby clubs. The Bucks Scooby Crew and friends meets have grown into what is now a meet to look forward to. We have held 4 meets last year and I can say that even the British weather can’t spoil the fun that is had. With cars coming far and wide and from clubs like the Mighty MSOC, Essex Scooby crew, Sussex and surrey it make it a great venue to catch up with friends. It is also a great opportunity to see what owners have been doing to there cars through out the year. We have seen cars go from standard to magazine feature cars is the space of a year and the odd sale and upgrade to the sad story of a number of full engine rebuilds. It is also a great place to get ideas and ask the people in the know. We normally have our club sponsor DSAutomotives turn up to answer any questions you may have an also a great friend of the club FB Tuning who has an awesome classic that always turns heads. There are a few ways to find out how you can attend these meets. 1st is to register on the site at www.bucksscoobycrew.co.uk and take a look in the events section, 2nd is to visit your local club page to see if any thing has been put up. One of the other places is on Scooby net in the MSOC section where I always make sure they are invited.

The Ace Café has always been a place that draws in the crowds and I remember this one guy come up to me a few years ago asking how do I go about going the Bucks Scooby crew even though at the time he was only about 17 but has always had a love for the Scooby. Lots of questions about the different types of car and which one he liked the best. It was a great sight at one of the meets last year as he came up to me and said do you remember me asking all the question a few years ago? Well I have just got my first classic and I love it. Now to me that just goes to show that a meet like ours can make help make dreams come true and keep people interested in these awesome cars.
We are hoping to hold a few more meets at the Ace café this year where everyone is invited. Don’t forget to register on the site www.bucksscoobycrew.co.uk to keep an eye on not just the Ace Café meets but everything else the Bucks Scooby crew gets up to.

I would like to thank the guys at the Ace Café for allowing us to meet at this great venue and a big thanks to the marshals for standing out in all weathers checking the cars in and keeping things safe for all the family to enjoy the cars.

See you all soon.

"Hey Michel, I use GoPro 2s/3s and various mounts. The mount on the roof in this one is a Vectormount :) turns with the wind and works so nicely with drifting. "

"Excellent coverage Andi! Looks like a great meet. I echo your opinion on meets and car forums, however we're all about supporting & bringing attention to those that are not of that mold :D Love it! "
