Annalese Ferrari enter FBS

This 22 year old model and racing car driver, not only has the skills behind the wheel to prove her worth, she also has the name to match. Annalese is the latest competitor to enter the Fueltopia Barrel Sprint series being held at Santa Pod Raceway on August 21st, 2011.

Any pre-conceptions about this model best be quickly forgotten as she has a credible driving record to back her up striking looks. Having raced karts from a young age, she has quickly forged a name for herself in Formula Renault, Formula Ford, Mazda MX-5’s, JCW R56 Minis, Seat Leons, Radicals and Citroens. Her skill set on four wheels has also landed her the chance to become the first female instructor to be taken on by World Famous stuntmaster, Terry Grant.

Annalese says “I'm excited about taking part in the Fueltopia event as I've not looked into the drifting/drag racing side of motorsport before and it will test my car handling technique as well as speed in a different environment to that of a track like Silverstone or Brands Hatch. I recently won the Japshow 2011 Handling track in a Peugeot 206 GTI, beating 23 cars and the only female competitor so I'm hoping this will give me an idea of my performance in the Fueltopia event.”

Annalese will be sponsored by the Terry Grant Stunt Academy, which is also based at Santa Pod Raceway. The school offers to teach drivers techniques that are used in Hollywood movies and covers everything from J turns to Donuts. As the race day approaches the only thing left for Annalese is to decide what car to compete in? The Peugeot 206 GTI or the BMW M3...
