Eurospec Time Attack Evo 6 Last few Months Pain and joys..

Its been such a busy First season for us with the Evo and new Team members and so on.  We have had our fair share of things going wrong and this is to be expected in the first Season of any race team.  What I did not expect was to be battling it out for podium finishs this early in the Development of the car.  Theres some well developed cars in the Series and have the reliability which comes with time and development.

If we go back to the First Round Cadwell Park,  Never been there before and its Wet.. The car was finished 3am in the morning before the long drive there and the aero was not complete.

To makes things worse in Practise the car starts pushing coolant and missing bad.  We decided , in good eurospec fashion screw it we are here lets keep going, so we did... 2nd Fastest In quals on Semi slicks was epic and i was over the moon, although the car was hanging and lifting the head and we was looking strong for the Final..

But the head lift issue got us in the end with a failure in the final making our weekend not so good but not with out a fighting chance.

So that was Cadwell over.  After getting the car back to the Garage it was confirmed we had major Head gaskit failure and head lift, which was a pain meaning, head off, head skim, new head studs and so on before next round.

So we managed to get it ready for Brands Hatch and hoped this time it would be a little better.  How wrong was we.. Same happened at Brands Hatch but we did finish on the podium.. Which for our second Event we was over the moon and look strong for the next round..  this time the issue was a misfire but we have it under control and look forward to Snett 22/23
