So the last couple of months have been a little busy for me, a new job has been keeping me away from the here. Outside of work, FBS has been keeping me busy as per the rest of the team and i think we've welcomed the mid-season break with open arms, though it doesn't mean FT life has stopped though.
Recently the car got accepted into the Power and Style Awards at the Performance Vauxhall Show which is held at what seems to be my second home now - Santa Pod.
The day started with me picking up Grace and heading to the meeting point to convoy down with Loz and our friend Shane, i nearly didn't reach the meeting point after not filling up with fuel before i left and then getting a little pedal happy on the motorway. After a fairly uneventful convoy we parked up the cars, spent some time cleaning and then enjoyed the day.
Safe to say the car looked sweet, and i got a little cooked....

Also this month i headed down to King of the Ring with Paps and Mr Regent, now i have been down to this before - but this month it was more apparent that the level of the driver skill had increased and so had the corwd attendance, a quick walk round and bumping into some familar faces we made our way into the infield and Dan and Paps got snapping whilst i tested a new bit of software/feature of the site, see whilst FBS is on it break Behind the scenes things don't stop and Dan has been working hard to bring some new things to the site, one of them being a Live Feed function. - If you look to your left you'll see a USTREAM tab, this is what i was testing, now i was only using my iphone but its extremely promising especially now that we know it works, all i can say is the future is looking rather awesome.
Anyway back to KOTR and its safe to say it kept us all captivated for the whole night and before we knew it, the event was over and we we were starving, there was only one thing for it: BrickLane Beigel shop.
If there is one thing i could reccomend to you, it is to head into London on the wrong side of midnight for a Salt Beef and Mustard beigel and 1/2 a dozen to take home - One of the hidden gems of east London.
