New Tow Straps for the MR2

Since Fueltopia headed to Silverstone for the Trax Show, I knew I wanted to get the Toyota sorted with some tow straps for future track sessions.

The bodykit has hidden the original OEM tow hooks and these offer a far more flexable solution to solid metal versions that are currently on the market. The fact I found a set in bright Fueltopia pink was just an added bonus!…

The designer's pen is mightier than the sword

The name Laurens van den Acker probably won’t mean much to most of you. Unless you’ve got a vested interest in motoring, chances are you’ve never heard of him before. Well trust me, he’s a man you listen to when it comes to car design. An article in last week’s Autocar magazine speaks very highly of him. It’s been just over a year since he replaced Patrick le Quement as vice-president of corporate design at Renault. And boy has he been busy.…

Finally an update on the civic track car :)

Sorry have taken my time with an update, a broken computer and my sister taking the other one to uni hasnt helped me!

primered up the rear diffuser today, created a template for bumper holes to reduce any drag that i may get, was going to go with plain hole saw holes but thought i may as well link it in with the design of the diffuser as such.

also took off my rear arch repair and re did it as i wasnt happy how it sat with the bumper now on,…

Lancia Delta HF Integrale

Not quite on the same level as some of the 'Wednesday Goodness' offerings from Jim, but quite cool nonetheless.

Spotted this last night at a Shell Garage while putting some fuel in the Cinq. I had a brief chat with the owner who said that it was just about to go back into storage until his daughter passed her test (seriously!), and that he had just bought himself a Scuderia (F430)...

Two thumbs up to you sir, well played! :)…

my car rebuild.

taken from another site.

i have had lola for a few years now, and at the start its was nothing but hell, from a cat exploding to valves sticking to 3 engines, i have put a hell of a lot of effort and love but mainly loads of swearing (its not just the car that is blue at times lol).

i had finally got her to a point where i was happy with her and winning the show and shine in April last year really put the icing on the cake, well that and having a magazine feature of her… Continue

BMW Show 2010

The fifth annual BMW Show took place at Santa Pod Raceway, and with summer feeling behind us and autumn just around the corner, this was a great way for BMW fans to wind up the season. A warm and sunny test day on Saturday gradually turned to rain at the end of the day, but many BMW fans were already at Santa Pod eagerly anticipating the main Sunday show day. They had a wet night of camping and a slightly damp start to Sunday too, but it wasn’t long before the clouds had blown away and the…
