Apologies for the late post, but here it is.



Nitro Crew had their Sound-Off, Show & Shine on Saturday 24 July, at Station Audio in Roodepoort.



This event was very well attended by various clubs and everybody wanting to have a run with their sound and show off their pride and joy with some really awesome kitted out rides.



First one that caught my eye was this Volvo. …

As some of you know, i am a bit of an expert in all things bodywork related.

anyway, i have found a new scratch removal system that get rid of 99% of smaller scratches on the bodywork of your pride and joy

heres a couple of before pictures, the scratch is just above the Clio badge, about 9 inches long

and here is the scratch with the removal system…

Right what a great night ,after a bad start for me it was great to see all the cars meet at beaconfield services and then to see fueltopia fill the Ace Cafe car park just proves that they need us to make that nite work down there

Sorry to the people i didnt get to speak to i was in a shit mood ,but again a BIG THANKS to all the regulars and newcomers hope u will attend more fueltopia events

On Sunday the 25th of July 2010, I went to the 4th round of the Pro street drag series at Shakespeare raceway to compete.

Once again, my car performed faultlessly, but had a real problem with the driver!!!

I ran 8, maybe 9 times, mostly 12.0 seconds, but couldn't find my usual 11s for some reason or another, I think it was because I was practising reaction times in preparation for the up and coming HKS academy im entered into, which is all about reactions and first…

Its been a while since my last update but have managed to bin the air pump from my rex and just updated the rear light cluster.

The old lights were a bit dated and following a very good 'how to' guide ended up with the below:

The NJ 2010 Trans Am run from the McDonalds on Rt 1 South and Prince St in Edison NJ, down to the Cruise Night at Chik-Fil-A on Rt 9 North in Howell NJ is now history. Here's a short story....

Bought a brand new carbon fibre bonnet from EPRacing. It's a Jun style bonnet and was excellent money too.

Almost straight away I was cutting holes into it, which was scary stuff indeed!!!

Aerocatch bonnet pins are pretty much the done thing for safety on these lightweight bonnets, hence it had to be done.

After lining up the existing pins, I drilled through the bonnet, which then…

As some of you may know my car isnt the most practical of everyday cars. Not only due to its rather thursty habbit of drinking more petrol in a day than BP can loose in a month but mostly due to its height.

After trying many times using many methods we just COULD NOT raise the old bag using the existing coilovers. This was due to them being Very, Very, Very stiff and the lock lugs being ally and the thread being steel... well…

Hey guys, in my spare time over the weekend i managed to finish the car trailer i have been building off, so now im in the process of welding it fully up, i am going in today or tomorow to buy some undercoat and some hammertone paint to finish her off, then it has to pass the REGO :S lol....
