I bought a new stereo the other day : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-KVT-920DVD-DVD-playback/dp/B00007BKR3 and sat nav add on unit so i thought i would tackle the joys of changing the stereo over . . .
To the people who know skylines this isnt as easy as most cars . . .
for a start you have to take half the dash off just to get to it and then it is bolted in to the cage within the dash! Stereo keys would be so much easier!!
We’re hearing rumours that Lamborghini are working on an LP560 special edition that does away with the 4WD system that fitted to all Lamborghini’s nowadays. The news comes from posters over at lambopower.com where they think that power could also be reduced to 550bhp in the special edition, making it an LP550-2.
The new version would not be a successor to the SuperLeggera, the previous generation retained it’s 4WD system, instead it… Continue

Most progress on the cars has been put on hold for a while due to a expansion project that we are now midway through completing.
Our workshop is being extended sideways by 15 meters which will allow much more freedom for us to work on cars, ie ability to have two cars side by side which is ideal for doing engine transplants etc.
That being said the 306 is still having bits and bobs rust proofed and the time the above situation gives us will hopefully… Continue
Garage tools are really not the most exciting items to chat about? Or are things about to change? If these new ramps from Optimum Balance are anything to go by then garage tools are about to become cooler than a penguins nut-sack.
As the credit crunch strikes, doing jobs on your own car is becoming more and more important if you want to save those vital pennies for extra mods. These new ramps not only look great, they've also been designed with performance cars in mind. The 1.1 metre… Continue
The blogs have been a little slow, but that's cause we've been crazy busy here at the London Motor Museum! Things just don't seem to drop below 100mph, if you get what I mean!
As some of you may know, we rolled out the SSC with Jimmy Jean-Louis from Hereos, for the ultimate road trip.…
My wheels have been looking a bit of a state recently.
Too many washes by the local polish brigade with TFR and me obviously not using enough cleaner when i first got the car lead to marbling of the rims and the brake dust being baked in to the rim.
After a few different cleaners from Alex Creasey at Serious Performance we finally found one that combined with elbow grease seems to have worked!
The wonder stuff was Finish Kare #394 Chrome and brass polish finised… Continue
The most iconic motoring venue in London, Ace Cafe, played host to its monthly performance car meet, InCarNation.
After having some issues with the Fueltopia meet location, we decided to support the event at the Ace and tonight we were on force as we took half the car park. Tonight was not as busy as it has been, suprising… Continue
To be fair, I only stuck to the Drift arena, I know the People who run it so they usually let me roam free in the track. So I thought I would share a few photos of the day.
Usual Rules apply, if you want to link the Photos to somewhere else, just ask, Im a nice person. Steal them, well... I'll find you...…
Over the weekend our BD14 Inlet Cam Arrived, we found an anti-roll bar for the rear end- the S14A front end start is of a good stiffness for this application, and the Turbocharger has been installed.…
So this weekend ive sold another one of my cars, my track day BMW 325i. Although it has gone to a friend and i will see it often i really didnt want to get rid of it. It hasnt been road legal for the last year and a half and was solely a track car and ive had some great times in it, Donnington Park was great recently despite the weather ruining the afternoon… Continue
In F1 every split-second counts out on the track and even in the pits. The kings of time, Casio have become partners with the Redbull team and to celebrate have launched a high performace wrist-watch, dubbed the Edifice, that would look great on the track as well as off it.
Using the same 'Wave Cepter' technology as NASA use to guide space shuttles means that you cant get a more accurate read on time, no matter where you are in the world thanks to the international transmitters and… Continue

At long last, Power engineering in Uxbridge, Middlesex UK, are back in the game with their new Dyno dynamics rolling road up and running at their lovely new premises, opposite to where they used to be in Wallingford road.
We were very nicely invited down to have a free go on the dyno by Iain Ball who runs the place, a top bloke and friend of ours going way way back to rolling road events in the black and white days about 100 years ago (slight exaggeration maybe!!).
sponsored car with a Cosworth RS500 engine track prepared by NTS Automotive. We have supplied the front splitter and door cards to this vehicle, it is a privilege to have our work featured in it, the pictures speak for themselves.…
The rollcage for Daves Porsche has finally arrived after some long delays. It is a 6 Point club kit which will be added to in order to make bring it to the same specification as the roll cage in our Porsche GT2 Rep.
In the meantime the roof has been finished and is now primered, and the car has been cleaned, prepped and smoothed throughout to make applying paint easier and to prepare for seam welding.…
The Supra has now had its final polish, front bumper and side skirts have been painted, and the car is being partially reassembled in the fitting bay at our bodyshop.…
The car has now been basecoated in Gloss black which will allow us to see any imperfections before we take moulds from it. As you can see it is a lovely finish which should yield good quality panels from the moulds and the colour makes the car look very businesslike.…
