Well what can i say.. the day was awesome! Can't say how happy i was to see two of our barrel sprint lads into the final! What a result! Well done to my boy on his first big event taking first place, went home with a banging headache, sore throat and sore shoulders from all the shouting and cheering! One proud dad i am! very early start up at 4.45am, loaded the car on the trailer by torchlight at 5.30 and away we went. Arrived at Silverstone at 7am very cold and blowing a gale. luke went off for the drivers briefing at 8.30 came back nervous and apprehensive. 39 drivers split into 2 groups, luke in the 2nd group having a chance to watch first, although he would have prefered to have gone first eager to get going.
