I also found out that my mates mini cooper s runs the same fitment wheels as my civic so shall be sharing track wheels with him :) which will help to split the tyre costs.

Started repairing the rust that was on the car:

Riiiight i have finally been able to start on the track car on my days off, progress will be slow but sure :)

is all a learning curve for me.

As i am running an in car fuel tank i have no need for the fuel filler cap etc. I decided to weld it up to give the car a clean look on the outside.

The start:

got my head bits through today:

supertech 1mm oversize valves in/ex
supertech titanium double valve springs
supertech titanium retainers
supertech bronze valve guides
seals etc

swirl pot turned up as well :)

may have found me a perfect donor car to pinch bits off off too :)

Bought me a slim 4 pot braking setup tonight, got it for a decent price.

Includes:

2 x Green :D 4 pot wilwood calipers

2 x two piece 310mm wilwood discs

set of new willwood pads

2 x braided hoses

4 x 10mm spacers (which i probably wont use)

Right couple of updates,

Block and sleeves are going down to knight engines tomorrow to be machined out and fitted.
Pistons and rods are already down there thanks to neil :)

Head will be going down there once valvetrain etc has turned up from yank tank land.

It is being treated to:

triple angle valve job

1mm oversize valves

full port and polish

combustion chamber matched to 3mm increased bore
